ParaMe is a desktop application that uses local AI models to help you paraphrase and improve your writing. The core principle of ParaMe is that your content stays on your device.

2. What data the ParaMe desktop app processes

When you use the ParaMe desktop app, your text is processed locally on your own device using on-device AI models. As of the date above:

• We do not send your text or documents to our servers.
• We do not collect or store your paraphrased content.
• We do not require you to create an account to use the app.

Any text you input into ParaMe remains on your device and under your control. You are responsible for securing your own device and operating system.

3. Website and download analytics

Our marketing website may collect limited technical information when you visit or download ParaMe. This helps us understand how many people are interested in the app and which platforms they use.

In particular, we may collect:

• Basic device and browser information (for example, browser type, operating system).
• Usage information such as pages viewed, clicks, and approximate location based on your IP address.
• Download information such as platform (Windows or Linux), app version, filename, and timestamp of the download.
• Technical identifiers like your IP address, user agent, and referrer URL as part of normal web server and analytics logs.

We currently use Google Analytics and a simple server-side logging endpoint to measure anonymous download activity and improve the site. This information is used in aggregated form and is not used to personally identify you.

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies in connection with analytics. These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to sell your data or to run third-party advertising networks.
